Leadership
Founder & CEO
Marc Pacella brings more than 25 years of hands-on experience building and scaling premium wine and spirits brands across the United States and internationally. He advises from experience, not theory — having operated at every stage of the business, from brand creation to strategic exit.
Marc was a founding partner of Zyr Vodka, building the brand from inception before exiting in 2018. He also played a meaningful role in the early growth of Patrón Tequila, working in sales as the brand scaled into a global category leader before its 2018 acquisition.
His experience spans both wine and spirits, with a focus on premium imported brands from key producing regions across Europe, Mexico and South America. Through his work, Marc has developed deep relationships across the U.S. three-tier system, along with a practical understanding of what it takes to successfully enter and scale within it.
Marc founded Velocity to give international producers a clear, executable path into the U.S. market — bringing together strategic positioning, distribution access, and hands-on execution to help build brands that last.
